ABOUT
Born in Switzerland, I grew up largely in Singapore with a few years in the UK. I moved back to the UK two years ago and am currently set up in Leeds, where I study at the Leeds College of Music.
I have always been a gamer and enjoyed the alternate reality they provide. My interest in music began in my early teens with my introduction to Heavy Metal. I have since become inspired by epic films scores, such as the work of Zimmer, Giacchino and Shore. After exploring my interest in music for film I became acquainted with notable game composers, and the likes of Zur and Soule have since left lasting impressions on my style. I decided to combine my two passions - writing music and interacting with games.
I have a firm belief that audio in a game is a paramount component to the success of its ability to engulf the player. A virtual world is a completely silent one - any missing or misplaced audio will be glaringly out of place. I also believe that as games achieve photorealistic graphics, effective music will allow an experience akin to being in the game world personally. With this philosophy I approach creating audio for games with quality, consistency and authenticity in mind.
