biography

I have always been a gamer and always enjoyed the alternate reality they provide. My interest in music began in my early teens with the discovery of Heavy Metal. I have since become inspired by epic film scores such as Zimmer's Gladiator, and equally impressive games scores such as those found on Company Of Heroes and Icewind Dale. I decided to combine two of my passions - writing music and interacting with games.
I have a firm belief that audio in a game is paramount in the success of it's ability to engulf the player. A virtual world is a completely silent one - any missing or misplaced audio will be glaringly out of place. I also believe that as games achieve photo-realistic graphics, effective music will allow an experience akin to being in the game world personally. With this philosophy, I approach creating audio for games with quality, consistency and authenticity in mind.
